Web novel readerAndroid + iOS

A web novel reader app built for 1,000‑chapter stories.

Stop reading serials in a browser tab. StoryCodex imports web novels by URL, saves chapters offline, and keeps a spoiler-safe story memory on your device, so the world stays clear no matter how long the series runs.

The problem

Reading web novels in a browser is a fight.

Serial fiction lives on chapter pages built for ads, not for readers. The longer the story, the worse the experience: more tabs, more trackers, more chances to lose your place or trip over a spoiler.

Ads and pop-ups

Chapter pages wrapped in banners, redirects, and autoplay video turn a 2,000-chapter serial into an endurance test.

Lost progress

Browser tabs and site bookmarks forget where you stopped. StoryCodex keeps a real library with per-chapter progress.

Spoiler minefields

Search a forgotten character name and a wiki tells you how they die in book four. The Codex only knows what you have read.

Connection required

Reading in a browser means every chapter needs signal. Bulk saving in StoryCodex means a flight is just more reading time.

How it works

From a URL to a private, searchable story memory.

StoryCodex turns a raw web serial into a real book on your phone: clean chapters, saved progress, and a Codex that grows only as far as you have read.

1

Paste the novel URL

Dedicated extractors understand Royal Road, Wuxiaworld, NovelFull, Webnovel, and Readernovel, with a general extractor for other sites.

2

Save chapters in bulk

Queue hundreds of chapters for offline saving in one pass, then read with zero network access and zero page clutter.

3

Grow a spoiler-safe Codex

On-device analysis builds character profiles, aliases, factions, timeline events, and chapter summaries bounded to your progress.

4

Read or listen anywhere

A typography-first reader plus offline neural TTS engines (Piper, Kokoro, Supertonic) covering roughly 31 languages.

Supported sites

Imports from the places web novels actually live.

Dedicated extractors handle chapter lists and content cleanup for the largest web novel hosts, and a general extractor covers many smaller sites. For everything else, EPUB, PDF, and TXT import is built in.

Royal Road

Full chapter-list extraction for royalroad.com serials, from fresh Rising Stars to multi-thousand-chapter epics.

Wuxiaworld

Dedicated support for wuxiaworld.com and wuxiaworld.site catalogs, including long xianxia and wuxia runs.

NovelFull

Imports novels hosted on novelfull.net with structured chapter lists for bulk saving.

Webnovel

Extractor support for webnovel.com titles so you can keep series in one library.

Readernovel

Chapter extraction for readernovel.net novels, ready for offline reading and analysis.

Other sites

A general extraction path handles many additional web novel sources, so you are not limited to the big five.

Answers

Web novel reader questions, answered.

Which web novel sites does StoryCodex support?

StoryCodex ships dedicated extractors for Royal Road, Wuxiaworld, NovelFull, Webnovel, and Readernovel, plus a general extraction path that works with many other web novel sites. You can also import EPUB, PDF, and TXT files directly.

Does StoryCodex host or provide novels?

No. StoryCodex is a reader, not a catalog. You point it at a novel URL or file you want to read, and it fetches and organizes the chapters on your device.

Can I read web novels offline?

Yes. Save chapters in bulk while you have a connection, then read, search the Codex, and listen with downloaded neural voices entirely offline. Fetching new chapters is the only part that needs a network.

Is StoryCodex free?

Yes, StoryCodex is free to download on Google Play and the App Store. The core reader and on-device Codex work without an account, and optional StoryCodex Cloud credits are only needed if you want hosted AI analysis.
